Experience the difference by Dr. Sheta

Dr. Sheta grew up in Egypt and graduated from dental school at Cairo University in 1995. He fulfilled his internship at the National Institute of Cancer and served one year as a dental officer in the Military. He then began practicing for the American Embassy in Cairo. There, he treated both Embassy employees and US Military personnel and their families who were residing in Egypt.

In 2000, he made his way to the United States, landing in Beverly Hills, CA. There, he became an associate for celebrity dentist Dr. John Ivey. He focused on cosmetic dentistry for the following six years, treating the practice’s celebrity clients like Sharon Stone, Eva Longoria, the late Merv Griffen, Dido, Jaime Presley, and many more. While he enjoyed this work, he was eager to learn more and explore another part of America’s landscape.

  • Upon Dr. Ivey's retirement in 2006, Dr. Sheta moved to Northern Kentucky to become an associate to an Orthodontist in the Crest View area. He practiced there until 2010, when Dr. Sheta decided to continue learning and exploring, this time in Florida. He completed a one year residency at Lindsey Hopkins Technical institute in Miami. There, he focused on dental surgeries and implants as well as the latest technology of CAD/CAM design. This specialty in restorative dentistry included all ceramic crowns, bridges and veneers.
  • After this intense learning experience, Dr. Sheta decided to settle with his wife and two children in the beautiful neighborhood of East Beach, where he established his own practice. Dr. Sheta loves both the area and his work. "For the past 18 years I have been doing nothing but dentistry," Dr. Sheta says. "Sometimes I think about what I would be doing if it wasn't dentistry, and I can't think of anything else.”
  • He adds, “The best thing about what I do is that I don't feel like I'm working. I enjoy putting patients at ease and showing them what dentistry can do for them in this new technological era.”
  • Seeing the genuine smile and satisfaction on his patients’ faces is the ultimate reward, he says. Dr. Sheta also understands the anxiety that many patients feel about pain and discomfort during dental procedures. “I meet their fear with a challenge that they can go through a whole dental visit without feeling any discomfort. And afterward, when they smile, realizing that I was right, that is what I enjoy the most!"
